VIBRANT HUNGER

The driving force behind this mural concept is the use of colour. The yellows and oranges evoke a sense of hunger and excitement, providing warmth and comfort. Meanwhile, the blues and greens reflect the nearby river and surrounding nature, inspiring health and prosperity. The complexity of the painting lies in its ability to frame and continually change as you walk along the entire 30m length. There is a rhythm created with the collage of shapes and colours. Each mural studio NELM creates is a unique project, made to fit in a specific location and serve a specific purpose. The proposed concept is an impression only, where most of the work and decisions are made on site. This enables the feel of the laneway and its architectural qualities to shine through and be a part of the art.
